My interpretations of why:
1. My dSSS fic. People tended to comment a lot during dSSS (and Yuletide), and readers in general tend to click more on links to stories with lots of comments and kudos.
2. Hmm. It's labeled with Magical AU and Psychic Bond, and maybe those are popular tropes. Of course, I do also think it's a good story.
3 and 4. Posted primarily on the AO3, and about people on the AO3, so I don't think it's surprising they'd be in the top ten. Was also linked from the tag wrangler mailing list.
5. My Big Bang fic. People probably seek out long stories.
6. Yuletide fic. Has lots of comments/kudos.
7. Is tagged with "Bondage", which I suppose is a popular kink.
8. This one's a bit of a mystery. It's a rare fandom, and not posted during Yuletide.
9. And this one's the real mystery. It's gen, which tends to get much less hits. Maybe it was recced somewhere?
