Right, I'm back from the south with this podfic, which I recorded while there. I've gotten spoiled with lots of helpful podfic betas lately (I appreciate them so much!), but this one isn't beta-listened. This is because I wouldn't be able to get back to the same acoustic environment to re-record, and IMO obvious re-recordings in a different environment are as disruptive as mispronunciations when you're listening to a podfic (what's your opinion on that?). Anyway, please do tell me if you find any mispronunciations anyway, so I'll know for another time.

I hope you enjoy it! And thank you. I still haven't listened to the podfic you gave me; I wanted to save it for when I have some peace and quiet (right now I'm grading exams like crazy). *hugs*

I'm so glad you think so! I know I don't have a British accent, but I really enjoy recording Austen and Sherlock Holmes and other 19th century British fandoms.

You have a lovely smooth accent; a UK person might be disconcerted, but I found it lovely. (I also heard that one of my blasted American 'gotten' s slipped in, and have fixed it in the text, need to fix it in the A03 version, argh, argh. But it's deep in the middle.)

Thank you! (And I, of course, have discovered a pronunciation error: apparently the first "e" in "precedence" is a short vowel and not a long one. Ah well, now I know.)
