I posted five recs of Frannie gen over at the fan_flashworks Amnesty challenge, thus also earning a badge for having posted three gen works. Here it is:


I am totally motivated by the badge system. In fact, I have a spreadsheet keeping track of potential badges. *g*

Also, my Midsummer fic is going well now! In fact, I wrote 1200 words on it the day before yesterday. *thanks all the muses* Which, of course, doesn't mean that I can slack off now--I need to finish it, and also work on my Big Bang. So do feel free to tell me to write...

Yes, ma'am! *salutes* I have now written 400 words on the Midsummer fic--my goal is to have a first draft of that before I go back to the Big Bang.

Oh, cool! Yeah, I found a few new ones, too. My strategy was to click on the Frannie tag at the AO3, go through them all, and pick the ones I liked best. : )

Oh yeah, I know that "gah feeling"...I'm juggling flashworks, dS_snippets, slashthedrabble, slashtheimage, in the midst of a collaboration with ButterflyGhost, and doing beta for the dSc6dBB...AND I leave in 9 days for the RCW 139 Con in Canada.

I hope you have fun at the con! I imagine it'll be a little different from BP--less of a slash and fan fiction focus, from what I've heard.

Yes, it's a mostly canon-oriented con and also a lot of attendees who don't do fanworks. I don't know how many slashers or even how many transformative works creators will be there...so far the only attendees who are "out" about being slashers are myself and ria_oaks.

I know, right? I wasn't going to do anything for this round, but then I was all, oh, new badges, and I had to do something to be able to count old works toward the new badges...I figured a rec set would take less time than writing something, but then of course I had to read through a lot of fic instead. *g*

Yeah, I'm glad the mods used those suggestions!
