A due South podfic exchange?

Would anyone be interested in a due South podfic exchange? I was thinking something along the lines of matching people up on pairings/characters (like, people would list all pairings/characters they'd be interested in receiving podfic about, and all the pairings/characters they could record about) and then people would record a gift podfic for someone else. Maybe with a 5000 word minimum or so?

There's a lot going on right now, but maybe in the beginning of next year or so? Just gauging interest for now...please weigh in if you have ideas or opinions. : )

I was going to say "Now is sooooo not a good time!" because, yeah, everything seems to be happening right now and I think we're getting podficcer burn out, but January would be a good time. It'll overlap the end of Podbang, and the start of podficbigbang (if it runs again) and podfic_bingo (but that's year 'round, so everything overlaps it. And theatripod I guess. But I don't think a dS exchange would conflict too much with any of those projects.

And how much do I love that there are so many overlapping podfic comms running at once? I mean, I hate that I can't participate in all of them (though I try sometimes when I shouldn't :S), but there are so many options these days!

And podfic fandom definitely needs more fandom-specific challenges. :D

Yeah, there's so much going on right now! And yeah, I was thinking January, too. I finally decided not to do Podbang, and it felt like a relief. But it's also cool that podfic fandom is so big now that not everyone needs to participate in everything.

And yes, I thought it might be fun to run a fandom-specific podfic challenge. : ) There was a Generation Kill podfic challenge this summer, and it was cool to see how it pulled new people into podfic who were already in GK fandom.
