Writing, yay!

Oh wow, I am so relieved. I said on my last post that I thought exeterlinden had got me unstuck on my dSSS story, and yes, she really did. On the train north, I deleted 300 words of it and wrote 900 new words, and it's working. I'd been having problems with plot and structure, but I think it's all going to work out now! I think this is going to be a good story. \o/

Awaiting beta on my partially written Yuletide story, so that one's on ice for the moment.

How about you: how are your holiday exchanges going, if you're doing any?

That is the best feeling in the world, when something finally starts to come together. I'm excited to read it! Wish I'd gotten into the fandom in time to do dSSS. Maybe next year!

Not doing any fannish exchanges this year, just the holiday ficlets for my Flist, which I think are going pretty well. Only a handful left to go!

Oops, late reply! Anyway, if you want to participate in dSSS in some way, you could sign up to pinch-hit. If that's a thing that you do, of course--I don't write that fast, so I probably couldn't do it myself.
