Fix things Friday (er, Sunday)

In the last two weeks I have:

- attended a board meeting of the union,
- prepared and chaired a members' meeting of the union,
- angsted and debated over a difficult issue which for various reasons is still not settled,
- written texts for the member magazine of the union,
- gone to a regional union conference on strategies for recruitment, member retention, and encouraging activity among members,
- helped put together a list of tree climbing equipment to buy for my environmental org,
- eeeeemailed.
