Reread. This book is so much fun! It's inventive SF with a lot of worldbuilding, plot, and action. It's a universe where semi-sentient species are "uplifted" into intelligence by older patron species, but humanity has no known patron. OTOH, humans have uplifted chimps and dolphins, and the spaceship in the book is crewed mostly by dolphins. They are a delight, with their various languages and ways of thinking.
Uppgång och fall by Liv Strömqvist (Rise and Fall, only in Swedish)
Graphic novel with political themes. I usually like her stuff, and I did this one too, but it was a bit episodic. I like it when she does more of a unified theme.
