Oh, that's ambitious! I usually don't edit fics after posting, except if I discover typos or mistakes.

It's because deadlines are so tight I have to get them posted, even though I know the fic could be better. Most only get two or three hundred words added, others end up much longer. I like being able to work on them at my leisure.
