I'm sorry, I'm probably not going to manage to check in daily for the next time; my life went topsy-turvy since Tuesday and things are just crazy.

Heya! Checking in for yesterday (02/03) and today: 400w yesterday and a lot of words that don't really count but that I needed to write to air some feelings out; and a blogpost for today. Also watched a lot of eps of Community, Gravity Falls and Cobra Kai and listened to various podcasts.

How's the WIP going?

Thanks for asking, the WIP is going well! My biggest problem is that it's a very emotional story that makes me teary-eyed, and I don't want to work on it with other people in the same room. I'm in a small cabin with two other people, so I have to find ways of getting some alone time for writing.

At last I got the 500 words which are my ideal word count per day. Total word count: 11,200.

I'm in a small cabin with two other people, which is not optimal when I'm writing a very emotional scene. But tonight I went into another room and closed the door so that I could be teary-eyed in peace while I wrote.

Gah. I was so exhausted when I got home from work -- we've been at about 20% of staff out sick because of COVID for about two weeks and I've been doing my own work plus covering in understaffed departments -- I fell asleep almost as soon as I got home and didn't wake up until just now at about 12:30 AM -- so no writing except for writing this comment.
