Prizes for me!

I've been having a feedback binge, and I'm almost caught up on everything I read while I was away. \o/

And now, although it's a bit un-Swedish of me, I'm going to brag a little. I just got my prizes for coming in third in the amplificathon contest! They put all my podfics for the contest into one long anthology, and also gave me this cool prize banner, with images from all the fandoms I'd recorded in:



Most of all, though, I got a prize podfic! I'd asked for one of my own stories, and aphelant chose my self-insertion fic Dogs Have All the Fun, which I wrote for a challenge at ds_flashfiction. This makes me feel slightly embarrassed, but her reading is really lovely. She totally captures my squeeing over Fraser's dogsled team, as well as Ray and Fraser! If you haven't seen, there's a Pod Bang planned at amplificathon. It's a gift exchange where you choose and record a (minimum) 30,000 word fic for someone else, based on a list of fandoms they'd like fic in. Hmm, hmm. I haven't decided whether to sign up. I'm leaning towards no, actually--I am kind of itching to record some podfic soon, but 30,000 words is a lot, and I like to be free to choose what fic to record.

Ahaha. I never thought of it that way. Well, "down" can also mean a high, grassy heathland. No idea about the "watership" part, though--it's just a name. If you want more fan fiction from it, there's another awesome Yuletide story for it here. It's pretty long, or I would've recorded that instead.
