Day 9: sort of weird as writing, but: about 400 words writing out a shot list for an animation project. *facepalm* Hoping to get in some fiction words on Day 10, but I've got a dev edit for a client that I need to finish up today.

Okay, uh, wrote a 2,000+ word dev edit letter plus two alibi paragraphs on linguistics sci fantasy. The good news is that I'm done with clients for the moment (I took a few on to raise money for a specific Thing) and in principle I should be able to focus on the sci fantasy for a bit.

No idea what a dev edit is, but good work writing it! : ) And I hope you can focus on the sci fantasy now.

Oh, sorry - "dev edit" = "developmental edit" - high-level stuff (is the plot working, do your characters do their thing) vs. nitpicky stuff.
