Long day yesterday: I was one of the teachers on a day-long course about biodiversity in forests, and then when I went to my parents' place I suppose I could have done some writing, but mom wanted to watch the Nobel dinner and critique the fancy dresses, so we did that. I did however read some beta feedback, so I'm counting that.

11th: did some work on a gift fic, without actually making any progress. /o\
12th: 564 words (progress of a sort!) + lots of edits on paper that I haven't entered yet.

Day 11: a bit over 300 words so far, possibly more to come, for the Nostalgia project.

Day 11: I thought today's writing would finish off this treat, but I've added some words and I find it needs a little more. Oh well—perhaps I'll let it sit for a while, as I'm not too sure about where it's going and I have some beta feedback to look at in the meantime...

Day 11 is my first back to work after my impromptu "vacation" (read two sick days), and I'm pretty proud of myself that I made it all the way until now, my last duty of the day, during which I was able to squeeze in 432 words on the novel. This facilitates me just eating and then vegging out when I finally do get home.

I hope you're recovering from your very long day!

Thanks! It was a last minute rush since I ended up being out most of the day due to delays and then my car making weird noises. Today's been more of the same, except I now have a car that purrs instead of clonking, but I haven't written a word yet! EEEP!

It sounds like you had a very full day. It makes total sense that the Nobel ceremony is something to watch as a family to critique the dresses -- I had never though of it before!

Actually we watched the fancy dinner afterwards, which is always televised as well, and has interviews with the prize winners, the cooks who make the food, etc. And lots of fancy dresses. : )

day 11 - edited the novel and got it back to the publisher before I missed my deadline so huzzah
