The days seem to just fly by currently; I didn't even notice I missed more than one day again. /o\ But I did write some actual fic yesterday, which is quite the win.

Day 7 we have ALL the errands, so I squeezed in an "alibi" poem of 58 words this morning.

It's called "Blessing for the New Graduate," and it goes like this:

May the wave of uncertainty break over you,
carry you out into an unfamiliar sea,
cast you onto the beach of a new world
where you feel nothing but gratitude and humility.
May you never again assume anything
about anyone
without remembering the wave that brought you there
among people like you,
just trying to breathe and be.

I had a moment yesterday when I realized that receiving my [community profile] holly_poly assignment means I need to write it. But I did not work on it yesterday.

Dec 6, I wrote another letter, instead. :-)
