How was your writing day? I wrote about 150 words on the epilogue of my longfic, and since my writing the last few months has not been very productive and today was a busy day, I am happy with that. More tomorrow, hopefully.

Bonus farm news: I harvested my experimental oca plant yesterday. The yield was very small, and I had expected no better, as they really need a longer growing season. Perhaps next year we'll try it as one of the experimental ground crops under the high-growing tomatoes in our new polytunnel.

Hi! Thanks for hosting us this month!

I had never heard of oca before — I had to look it up. It sounds interesting!

My goal for December is to finish my GYWO goal: At the end of November I was at 180,107, which meant I was behind schedule if I'm going to reach 200,000 by the end of the year (spoiler: I am).

Day 1: 713 words of "Madame Park's Academy II." Day 2: 1031 words of "Madame Park's Academy II" — I've reached the end of chapter 30, but I don't have the energy to come up with a title for this chapter and then post it, so I'll do that tomorrow.

According to the Wikipedia entry on oca, in Mexico they're eaten raw with salt, lemon, and hot pepper. You might want to give that a try.

I've never failed to reach my GYWO goal before, and I'm hoping that I'll make it this year as well. *fingers crossed*
