Dragons in the snow

I think someone decided to celebrate More Joy Day at my university (a week or two late, but anyway)!




It's hard to see all the details in the photo, but it's a beautifully carved dragon, made out of one of those huge piles that the snowplow makes. And it was a good thing I took the picture in the morning--we've had a snowstorm during the day, so it must be all snowed under now.

Wow, that's a work of art! I can see some of the detail round the face and it's amazing. It must have taken whoever did it absolutely ages. Damn, now I really want to find them and tell them how great their snow-sculpting is. ;) Also, dear God you've had a lot of snow.

I know, it's so beautiful! I wouldn't even know how to start making something like that. Or, well, I could probably start, because that's just shoveling snow off something vaguely dragon-shaped, but not finish. *g*

Yeah, we've had a lot of snow, but the temperature is now above freezing for the first time in weeks. : ( I'm hoping it'll freeze overnight. *does not like slush*
