Will be gone for a month

I'm leaving to spend a month at a research station in the Swedish mountains, above the Arctic circle. For those new to my flist/circle: I've done this for the past two years, and it means a month without internet or telephones (well, I can climb one of the nearby peaks to get some cellphone coverage), so you won't see me for a while.

I'm taking the trip up there in two stages, and tonight I'm staying with medrin, a fannish friend (and incidentally, the first fellow Swedish fangirl I meet). Tomorrow I'll be sitting on the train (which will possibly have internet) a couple of hours, and then shopping groceries for a month and getting a helicopter ride up to the station. I'm really looking forward to getting up there. \o/

I usually send out postcards from up there, and if you've given me your adress before, I still have it (uh, hopefully). If you haven't, and you'd like a postcard, please give me your adress! : )
