I wrote a prompt at duesouth_kink that I can't get out of my head. Basically, it is: Fraser is asexual (which would be a bit AU in my opinion--that kiss with Victoria strikes me as passionately sexual, if nothing else--but I think it's an interesting idea). Anyway, he and Ray K share an apartment and are close friends, but Ray is kind of pining away after Fraser. And Fraser loves Ray, too, just not sexually. What do they do? Do they have a platonic relationship? Do they have an open relationship with Ray having sex with other people? Does Fraser have sex with Ray because it's something Ray needs (and Fraser might enjoy the intimacy)?

Actually, I've kind of already read the first half of this story, and it is j_s_cavalcante's Tip, Slide, Tumble. Well, at least it seems that way from Ray's side, but then it goes in a different direction.

Anyway, plotbunny free to a good home! (Also, total anonfail.)

Hmmm, thinking about it more, maybe Fraser's just celibate after the debacle with Victoria, if you're looking for a way to wedge the story into canon.

Yes, I thought of that story, but it's not the same thing, because the Fraser in that story is pretty obviously damaged in some way. (I do love that story, though--it makes my heart ache so sweetly.)

And hmm, I will think about writing it. *adds story idea to list*

*slaps own head* I really shouldn't tease you. I have no idea when I'm going to get to any new writing, let alone the WIPs that are waiting for my attention. But I love the idea, so there is at least a possibility it could write itself in my head at some point.

I totally owe you for all the marvelous podfic! Of which I am now downloading more. Homework time. :)

Hi there! I'd love to read that story as written by you (actually, I look forward to any new story you would care to write!), but I get the thing about having limited time. I might write it myself at some point, because it's made itself at home in my head.

Oh, and also: remember when you recommended me to take singing lessons to help me with my voice problems? It turns out that you were totally right. I did get help from the speech therapists I went to--they taught me to relax my throat muscles, which was an important part of what I had to learn--but they did not teach me to use my support properly (or I didn't learn it, at least). I'm kind of surprised at that, given that they have four years of medical education on teaching people to use their voice right. But anyway, I took singing lessons this spring, and will do it during the fall, too, and I have made so much progress (even if I still have much to make). I think you can hear the result in my podficcing. \o/
