Podfic for me + writing discipline

I won another prize in amplificathon! This prize is for posting the highest number of new fandoms--apparently I posted podfic in almost 30 new fandoms. Cool. Anyway, the prize is a podfic of my Benton and Caroline story Missing Pages, read by lunate8. I'm very fond of that story, and the reading is great. It actually put tears in my eyes.

I signed up for ficfinishing for an old Fraser/Thatcher WIP, but I'm being all avoidant and not getting anything done on it. I'm also working on two contributions to ds_flashfiction's Genre challenge (you should write for it, too!). But what I actually am itching to write atm is a prompt fill over at duesouth_kink (the Maggie/Victoria anonymous sex prompt, of all things--I've got it all figured out in my head). Perhaps I should just give in. *sigh*

Or maybe what I actually should do is give my hands a rest--they are all tired from sitting in front of a computer all day.

As to what you "should" be writing I always say write the story that's burning to get out. You don't want to lose it and the other story will still be waiting when you're done.

And congratulations on your award. You really deserve it and your prize is wonderful and worthy of you. Thanks for the hours and hours of pleasure you give me. ♥

And hey, I got your email and it was helpful, especially in reassuring me that the case plot wasn't too ridiculous. Also, it gave me the idea to do more with Fraser wearing Thatcher's uniform. I was thinking of it in a symbolic light rather than a sexy light, but it is rather sexy, too. Hmm.

Hey, that's a good thing! I've got mine, too, and I'm pretty sure I'll be able to come up with something for it, but I'm not feeling super-inspired yet.

Congratulations on the nod for all your podfic work. You've been doing amazing things.

I second Ande's sage advice about writing the story that is possessing you. I also vote for that story for other sordid and delightful motives. :)
