I'm graaaaaading lab reports, and I just came across a student who can actually write! With flair, and complete sentences, and the correct use of semicolons! Dear student, you brighten my day. &hearts
I guess it's sad that this should be such a rare occurrence. I don't feel that I can take the time to correct grammar and spelling and punctuation--I'm supposed to be teaching them university level math, after all. They should really know how to write already. *sigh*
My zombie lab assignment has gone pretty well, though, aside from problems of grammar. I overheard students having spirited discussions of it. *g*

As one of the very, very few math teachers who teaches my students writing (They're only 12 to 14, I can do it!) I find this very amusing.

And sorry about the bitching. I don't want to bitch at the students, so I have to do it somewhere else.
