Several people on my flist are posting about their love of singing, and I love singing, too, especially with my sister. We've sung so much together that it feels like our voices just fit together effortlessly, which I love. Here's me and my sister singing a Swedish Christmas folk song about Sankt Staffan, who is probably the same as Saint Stephen?
Anyway, I'm singing the melody and my sister the harmony for once (it's usually the other way around). We speed up the song at the second verse, and I like how that turned out. (OTOH, I set the gain of the microphone too high, which means that there's a bit of clipping at one point. Sorry!)
I also love nature in many ways--I love being outside, I love learning about and learning to identify different species (mostly plants, but also various groups of insects), and I'm also active in an environmental group that works to protect Swedish forests.

Date: 2012-01-05 07:59 pm (UTC)I looked at your own post, and it was pretty cool--the houseology list made me all thinky. So, okay, I'm going to subscribe to you and then count it for day four of the challenge. Er, that makes it sound like that's the only reason I'm doing it, which is totally not the case--I've seen you around for a long time and we do share a fandom. : )
