I haven't seen a lot of people in my fannish circles talking about this movie, so let me just tell you that it is AWESOME. It is the most feel-good movie ever, and I mean that in a positive way. And the ending! Oh, my heart. *has immediate urge to march in a pride parade or May Day parade* Well, at least it's International Women's Day next Sunday.

I saw it twice at the movies (though the second time was actually mostly so I could see the disco scene again and admire the prettiness of Gethin and Jonathan's relationship /shallow). :-)

Hee. I did not get any slashy feelings from the movie--actually, I appreciated that there was no love story (or at least, no getting-together love story).

I didn't really get slashy feelings, but I enjoyed their nice, stable, mututally-supportive relationship. I too was glad the movie didn't tangle itself up with getting-together drama. :-)
