Another book

I see I wrote a draft of a post complaining about how my nose was clogged up and I was not allowed to take the nose spray anymore, and I couldn't sleep because of it. But suffice it to say that I have had a bad cold which has lasted three weeks. /o\ It's still ongoing, but I'm on the mend now.

I made another book! This one has blue cloth on the spine and a matching blue marbled paper on the covers. Note the ribbon placeholder, I haven't done that before. I'm almost completely satisfied with this one; it has some small asymmetries in how the covers are glued on, but generally I'm proud of it! It's a collection of all my fic which isn't due South or Flight of the Heron.

I really hope your cold is better now! (especially as I'm late to comment) And that is so pretty, especially with the ribbon. If I ever finish all three volumes of my original thing, I'm going to commission you to make a beautiful edition of them, if you should be up for it at that far-future point :)

And I'm glad you like the book! I don't take commissions in general (I'm not in need of money), but I'm happy to make things for people I know. Actually I had idly thought of offering to bind your first one. : )

This is very kind of you on all counts. Thinking of a beautiful binding will give me a little extra motivation to finish the whole thing :) (and maybe come that point I can find you some nice Japanese paper or something as a return)
