Sadly, it's not what it sounds like--what they're actually doing is cooing over a baby. I really can't believe someone would write that sentence and not think of the innuendo, though.

I have a certain weakness for L. M. Montgomery, especially all the female friendship (though my favorite of hers is the Emily series). If you like audiobooks, Karen Savage, who is one of my favorite readers at Librivox, has recorded the first three books in the Anne of Green Gables series.
