Signs of life
Mar. 3rd, 2011 02:14 pm1) I am back from my dogsledding trip, as some of you have already noticed! I loved it, of course, and I'll post pictures as soon as I can. My dad is visiting this weekend (which I am very happy about), so I'll probably get it done some time after that. I took around 200 pictures and have deleted about 50 of them so far. I suppose I'll cull another 50 of the not-so-good ones before I choose which ones to post.
2)
j_s_cavalcante drew a picture of Fraser and Ray K for me! Go look at it--it's so beautiful. I keep it open in a tab and look at it every now and then.
3) Am doing
crack_van for due South this month. I've prepared about half of my recs before hand, though, so it shouldn't be too much work.
4) Have signed up for
fic_finishing to finally get the sequel to my F/K superpower fic done. I wrote the bulk of it in January, but didn't get all the way to the end--the action scene/resolution of the case is holding me up. I also have a story in my head that I'll write after that; it's a ghost story set during the post-CotW quest.
5) I don't surf much on Youtube, but I stumbled across this awesome a capella version of Bohemian Rhapsody, sung by a men's choir. I am so impressed, and I don't know how many times I've watched it by now.
6) I read a quote from Julian Assange where he said that Sweden was "a hornets' nest of revolutionary feminism". Ahahahaha. I wish. (This was because he was requested to come to Sweden to be tried for rape. Which I find a quite reasonable request.)
